CrossFit Level 1
My journey into coaching wasn’t something I planned—it was something I lived through. Growing up, I played sports like swimming and volleyball throughout elementary and high school—not just for fun, but to earn scholarships. Back then, training was tied to opportunity. But after those school years, I stepped away from serious training. Life got busy, priorities shifted, and for a while, I stepped away from that athletic mindset. Years later, when I moved to the U.S. and joined college intramurals at Montclair State, I jumped back into it—full force. No progression, no routine—just straight into the game. That’s when I started noticing little aches, tightness, and imbalances. Nothing major, but enough to remind me how much I missed moving with intention. That discomfort reignited something in me. I wasn’t just hungry to play again—I was hungry to train again. Properly. Instead of seeing a PT, I chose to invest in a CrossFit coach. That one decision changed everything. I was taught how to move better, get stronger, and build smarter—not just for performance, but for longevity. From there, I was hooked. I got exposed to movements I had never done before. I saw athletes flying on rings and linking butterfly pull-ups—and I wanted to be right there with them. Not skipping steps—mastering the basics first. I got addicted to Open Gym. And honestly? In the beginning, I had no clue what I was doing. But that’s what made me fall in love with CrossFit: the challenge, the learning, the structure—and most of all, the value of having a coach in your corner. That’s when it hit me: this is what I want to do. I want to coach. I love coaching because I love what it feels like to be coached. I love those small moments when moving well feels effortless because someone’s there to catch the details and guide you through it. I love the push. I love the challenge of leveling up even when you’re already “good.” That’s the energy I bring. And honestly, coaching keeps me accountable—it pushes me to keep growing as an athlete, too. I strongly believe that every athlete deserves guidance—someone in their corner helping them move better, think smarter, and push harder. I live for those breakthrough moments: when a movement clicks, when a cue lands, when someone realizes they’re stronger than they thought. When you train with me, you’ll never go into a workout without a plan. I’ll help you break it down, warm up the right way, and give you the strategy and confidence to finish strong. And My warm-ups? Yeah—they’re a full experience. Just like all our coaches here. Expect that You’ll start sweaty, focused, and fired up for whatever’s programmed on the board. But above all, I coach by one core belief: Finishing on a good note. Because how you finish—your last effort, your last rep, your attitude when it gets hard—is what truly defines your progress.
“Coaching changed everything for me—now I’m here to do the same for you.”
